Nicola and Andrew chose to have their wedding at the stunning Art Deco Claridges Hotel in the heart of London's Mayfair with the help of luxury wedding planners Bentley’s Entertainment. They chose Claridges and it could not have suited them more. Claridges is known for its Art Deco style, exceptional service and a sense of occasion that feels elegant yet welcoming. As a professional wedding photographer who works across London and Surrey, I always enjoy photographing weddings here. The hotel is full of history and style, and it is a wonderful setting for couples who want a luxury wedding in the city without losing the warmth of family and friends around them.

This day felt special from the very beginning. Nicola and I had spoken about her wedding photography style long before the date arrived, and I knew how important it was for her to feel relaxed. My approach always reflects that. I work quietly, offering guidance when it helps, while giving couples the space to simply enjoy their day.
Claridges makes that even easier. Every room is beautiful and the staff are always thoughtful, which gives me so much freedom to focus on portraits and candid shots throughout the day.
Bridal Preparations at Claridges
Nicola and her 6 bridesmaids got ready in their beautiful suite. The bridesmaids wore stunning lavender bridesmaids dresses in various designs. I love Bridal suites on the day of a wedding - so much laughter and love in one place.
I am often asked why I love photographing the early part of the day. It is because these are the beautiful moments that happen naturally. A glance between sisters. A quiet expression from a mother watching her daughter in her wedding dress. The tiny details that make the whole day feel real. There is no rush. Just time together before everything begins.

Nicola was calm and confident throughout. She looked radiant even before her dress was on. And then a very special arrival made the morning even lovelier. Her young son Archie appeared at the door, already dressed in his little waistcoat, ready to walk into the day as an important part of the celebration. His smile lit up the room and it was a joy to photograph them together.
I am always looking for a blend of portraits and candid shots during this part of the day. I want to give couples amazing photos that feel relaxed and true to them. Not posed. Not stiff. Just a record of what it felt like to be there.

Traveling to the church off Sloane Square, the blue sky gave way to rain clouds which broke just before the Bride’s arrival at the church.

Nicola happily sat in the Rolls Royce whilst umbrellas were brought by the wedding organisers to aid Nicola’s dry arrival.

A protective archway of white umbrellas secured the Bride's safe and almost dry arrival! After a quick check the wedding ceremony commenced.

The Bridesmaids walked up smiling broadly followed by the very proud Father of the Bride, bringing Nicola to her Groom.

There was so much love and happiness during Nicola and Andrew’s ceremony as well as a tear of two.

The flowers and bouquets were designed by Mary Jane Vaughan Designs. The floral decorations and candle light were beautiful. The Wedding Breakfast was held in the Ballroom of Claridges.

Then wedding cake was made by Peggy Porschen Cakes

Before the Wedding Breakfast commenced, I took the Bride and Groom for some portraits in the Art Deco surroundings of Claridges..
The atmosphere was brilliant. Nicola and Andrew's family and friends were so much fun.

Then the dancing started and continued late into the night.

What an amazing day! What a fabulous couple!
