Full day wedding photography across Surrey and London
If you have just got engaged and are starting to look for a wedding photographer, you might be feeling excited and slightly unsure where to begin. I completely understand - I remember it well myself!
I am Gill, a documentary led wedding photographer based just outside London in Surrey, with over twenty years experience photographing weddings across London, Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire, as well as further afield.

Full Day Wedding Photography Across London Surrey Hampshire and Berkshire
Full-day wedding photography is designed to reflect how your wedding unfolds, from the earlier part of the day through to your party later on.
Most couples book my standard full-day coverage, which is £2,300 for up to eight hours. This comfortably covers preparations, the ceremony, reception, portraits, speeches and your first dance.
If your plans run later into the evening, I’m happy to stay longer. I regularly photograph weddings that continue beyond the first dance, and additional time can be added where needed.
Your photographs will be delivered within six weeks of your wedding via a private online gallery, ready to download and share.
If you’re planning a destination wedding or a welcome dinner the day before your wedding day, I’m very happy to send a quote based on your bespoke needs.

What working with me feels like
Many brides tell me they worried about feeling awkward in front of the camera, or spending the whole day being directed and pulled away from their guests.
That is not how I work.
Most of the day is unposed. I pay close attention to what is happening around you and photograph the moments as they unfold.
When it comes to portraits and group photographs, I keep things relaxed and efficient, then step back so the day can continue.
Most importanly I always recognise that this is YOUR wedding day.

My wedding photography style
My wedding photography style is documentary led, with gentle guidance when it helps the day flow. Most of the time I am photographing what is already happening, rather than directing it.
I love the atmosphere of a wedding day. The nerves at the start, the laughter with your guests, the way the energy shifts once the celebrations begin. I photograph the wedding ceremony as it unfolds, candid shots during conversations, and portraits worked naturally into the day.
Later on, when everyone settles into the celebrations, that is often when the photos couples notice most. The ones they smile at afterwards, because they remember exactly how it felt to be there.

The Next Step
If you would like to check availability, all I need is your wedding date and venue. There is no obligation and no pressure. We can talk things through and see if it feels like the right fit for you as a couple.
