Those early days pass in a blur of night feeds, tiny little sighs and the cutest newborn stretches. One moment you are waiting for your baby to arrive. The next, they are in your arms.
Many Cobham mums plan to arrange newborn photography during pregnancy. Once their baby arrives, priorities shift and time feels different. If you have found yourself meaning to book but have not yet done so, you are not alone. It is still possible.
I regularly photograph newborns in family homes across Cobham, including Fairmile, Oxshott and Stoke d’Abernon. Sessions are typically held within the first two weeks, although beautifully settled images can often still be created up to four weeks old.

Your home does not need to be bright or perfectly tidy. I only need a small clear space.
I often photograph twins and families with older children here, and being at home makes including everyone feel much more at ease. Siblings can come and go without pressure. If you have a family dog, and many Cobham families do, they are always welcome to join in or simply hang out nearby. I may have a slight soft spot for them...

I have over ten years experience photographing newborns and I am fully trained in newborn safety and handling. Everything needed for the session is brought to your home, including lighting, props and simple styling, so you do not need to prepare anything beyond yourselves and your baby.
I am based in Surbiton and photograph newborns at home in Cobham regularly so if you are due to have your baby at St Peter’s in Chertsey or the Portland Hospital I would be very happy to come to your home to meet and photograph your newborn. I know how precious and overwhelming those first days can feel, and my role is to make this part simple and calm for you.

How It Works
1. Get in touch
Send me your due date or your baby’s age. A £90 deposit secures your session.
2. Plan together
We chat briefly about colours, simple styling and the kind of images you like. Nothing complicated.
3. Session day
I come to your Cobham home with everything needed. The session moves at your baby’s pace, with time to feed, settle or pause whenever needed.
4. Choose your images
Within two weeks you will receive a private online gallery to choose your images and prints.
What To Expect
Before your session we will have a chat about how the session will work.
On the day there is no pressure for anything to be perfect. Your home does not need to look a certain way and your baby sets the pace of the session. Again - I bring lighting and don't need too much room.
Portraits are kept simple and centred on your new baby. If you would like to be included I will guide you so everything feels natural and comfortable. You have just had a baby after all.
Most parents say the biggest surprise is how relaxed the whole experience feels. - that is always my goal.
