Yes. I bring my full mobile newborn studio with wraps, blankets and lighting to your home so everything is relaxed and easy.

How far in advance should we book wedding photography

Many couples book twelve months ahead but weekday and smaller weddings can be available sooner.

Hi there! I'm Gill

Almost every mum tells me she hates having her photo taken. Then she sees her images. That moment, when you finally see yourself the way everyone else does, is my favourite part of what I do.

Let's be honest. By 30 weeks you might be feeling huge, puffy and exhausted most of the time. Your ankles have disappeared, nothing fits, and the last thing you want is a camera pointed at you. I remember it well.

But look at what your body is doing: it's growing a whole new person! Your body is literally amazing, and deserves to be remembered. My job is to show you how incredible you look.

I'll pose you in the ways that flatter your bump and your shape, guide you through every single moment, and I'll make sure you are comfortable at the same time. You don't have to know what to do. That's my job.

I'm Gill, a Surbiton photographer with over 10 years' experience and 140+ five-star Google reviews. Sessions take place in my home studio near Kingston, and partners and well behaved dogs are always welcome.

When to book

Around 30-32 weeks is the sweet spot. Your bump is beautifully round, but you can still get up off the floor easily. If you're expecting twins, book a little earlier.

Where & When

All maternity sessions take place in my home studio in Surbiton, Monday to Thursday between 10am and 4pm. There is free street parking and I also have a drive if you would prefer to be closer.

On the day

Come as you are: tired, swollen ankles and all. Your session lasts about 2 hours, with time for lots of outfit changes.

You don't need to know how to pose. I'll show you exactly where to put your hands, how to angle your body and where to look. Small adjustments make a huge difference, and I know which ones flatter a bump. Most mums are surprised by how relaxed it feels.

What to wear

Don't worry if nothing in your wardrobe fits any more. I have a gorgeous collection of maternity gowns, made for photoshoots and made for bumps, all included in your session. You're welcome to bring your own outfits too, and I'm always happy to hear your ideas.

Hair and make-up

If you'd love an extra boost, I can put you in touch with the wonderful make-up artists I work with. Having someone else do your make-up is a real treat when you're running on empty. You can book and pay them directly.

Your photos

Within 2 weeks after your session, you'll see your proofs and choose your favourites. This is the bit everyone loves: the mum who said "I hate photos of myself" is usually the one who can't choose.

Bump to Baby

Your bump now, and your baby in their first precious weeks: two chapters you'll never get back. Book your maternity session and a newborn session together and save £50.

In those early newborn days, getting out of the house can feel impossible, so I can come to you. Your newborn session takes place at home, within the first 3 weeks. I bring everything with me. You can stay in your pjs, I'll take care of the rest.

Newborn sessions start from £349.

Booking both at once also means your newborn session is already booked in, so there's one less thing to arrange once baby arrives.
