Katy and Rob came from their home in Cardiff to hold their wedding reception at the luxurious 5 star Berkeley Hotel, after their wedding at St Paul's next door,in Knightsbridge, London.
I travelled up to meet Katy a few months before her wedding to Rob. I have covered weddings at The Berkeley many times and was recommended by the hotel. Katy was such an easy person to be around - and I loved her Mum! She wanted to have the most perfect day with her lovely Groom, Rob and trusted me to provide her with this.
Katy and her Bridesmaids got ready in the sumptuous Bridal Suite.
Everyone is getting ready, there is a fantastic happy tension - oh, and everyone looks AMAZING! The gorgeous Botias was doing her magic with hair and make up and with a little help from the Bridesmaids and Mum, Katy was ready to meet her Rob at the altar.
The St Paul’s Cathedral is a whole 200 yards away from the Berkeley, so Katy and her wedding party walked across the road for the ceremony.
Her super proud brother gave her away and the intimate ceremony began.
The weather was beautiful. Everyone was keen to throw confetti at the happy Bride and Groom - one of my favourite shots of the day!

The Ballroom of the Berkeley was set up with an elegant long table, with the wedding cake at the end of the room. Trees and candles adorned the pillars and flowers wherever you looked. It was so romantic!

The wedding speeches were one of my favourite parts of the day. Rob was so touching in his speech to Katy. There were tears of joy from the Bride and her Mum. From my unique vantage point I was able to photograph the reactions to their kind words - or indeed the hilarious comments made.
