I've been a wedding photographer for over twenty years and have specialised in newborn photography for more than ten of those. Experience has taught me when to step in, when to step back, and how to make people feel comfortable in front of the camera.
I photograph weddings across London, Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire, and newborn photography in clients' homes across Surrey and South London. I'm based in Surbiton, and my photography style combines documentary photography with beautiful portraits, so you have genuine memories alongside photographs you'll be proud to display.
Photography that Reflects How Your Wedding Day Actually Felt
I keep photography moving so you can spend your day with the people who matter most. Most of the day is photographed as it happens, with portraits worked naturally into the day, so you're only away from your guests for a few minutes before joining the celebration again.
Your gallery is ready within six weeks and tells the story of your wedding from beginning to end, with a balance of candid shots, beautiful portraits and all the little moments you may have missed.
I photograph everything from intimate weddings to full day celebrations and destination weddings. Eight hours of coverage is right for most weddings, but if you're planning a longer day, coverage can be extended to suit your plans. Your photography is always built around your wedding, never the other way round.
Surrey Newborn Photographer
Your newborn photography session takes place in your own home, so there's no need to travel anywhere with a brand new baby. I bring everything with me, including lighting, wraps and simple backgrounds, so all you need to do is stay at home and enjoy those first few weeks with your baby.
After more than ten years photographing newborns, I've learned that every baby is different. Some sleep through the whole session, while others need plenty of feeds and cuddles. We simply work around your baby, with all the time needed for feeding, changing and settling. If you have a calm family pet, they're very welcome to be part of the session too.
I'm based in Surbiton and photograph newborns in clients' homes across Surrey and South London.

Hi - I'm gill!
I'm originally from Aberdeen but have called Surbiton home for over twenty years. I'm mum to two girls, married to a very lovely tall husband, and I'm usually editing photographs with my much loved cocker spaniel asleep under my desk.
At weddings, I blend into the background for most of the day, keeping an eye on everything that's going on while helping you feel completely at ease in front of the camera when it's time for portraits.
For newborn sessions, your baby is always in charge. There's no pressure for your home to look a certain way, and no rush to get through the session. We simply take our time, stopping whenever your baby needs feeding, changing or settling.
And yes, I'm completely dog obsessed, so if your dog would like to make an appearance in your photographs too, I'll be delighted.
